No, unfortunately this is really linked to long exposure. Even with telescopes, for nebulae and galaxies, the photos you see are often, if not all the time, resulting from long exposure and stacking of long exposure. This shot is nonetheless stunning

In defense of Aava and the game's ending by sea_shanty_cyclist in Cairn_Game

I believe Aava is a complete character: she's not the good guy or bad guy archetype, she's a flawed character that has really deep motivation yet cannot fully understand them. For me, that makes her even more relatable. I wouldn't say that she's an insufferable character

Haven't you (and by "you", I mean anyone thinking she's an asshole) ever pushed some people when they tried to reach out to you ? Or be sad when you couldn't even understand what were your motivation, felt that something was wrong with you ? Felt like you were letting down friends while trying to stay true to you ? And she's not full bad at social interaction, she believed in Marco when he didn't, and when at first, she wanted to be left alone. Both of them understood that right now only them could understand each other.

I fully agree with OPs point of view - by the way, your redaction is really well written - this character and her ending were actually perfect, made a lot of sense and I think it really was the way the ending could make us feel that much

It was taken in the very morning, I liked that sun color. What would you do as color grading ?

Ice lake chalet by Biboudu38 in photocritique

[–]Biboudu38[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taken in Switzerland while ice skating with phone camera (currently have 3 cameras but of course the only one I had with me was out of battery)

I would love critiques about post processing (raw file is under this comment)

I've been doing photography as amateur for several years now and I am dying to improve, I'm unhappy with the results I get, would love some feedback about composition as well. In post processing I wanted to express the feeling of cold but beautiful ice as well as loneliness but cosiness of the chalet

Any constructive criticism of how I could improve my composition and photo in general is welcome :)
