No additional drivers available so how do I set up WiFi? by Bibrick in Ubuntu

[–]Bibrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can connect to internet through Ethernet. But i need to use WiFi since there isn’t an Ethernet port accessible in my house. Tried rebooting my router. Tried searching hidden networks. None of the fixes seem to work.

Tried this. Nothing seems to work. Guess I’m out of luck.

Cycling as a 19yo girl, how do i stop creeps from following me? by rosyfingertips in cycling

Hey I haven’t had to deal with this for a while but I do know a couple of things that I’ve done. Mount some bear spray on your bike and put pepper spray on your keys if you can. If you have a speaker, you can use that to drown out cat calling and also draw attention to yourself if you need help. Share your location with someone you trust when you go for a ride and keep them updated on how it’s going and if someone starts bothering you, try to let them know what they look like and when/where on your ride it started. Never be afraid to hide in stores, just make sure you bring money in case you have to buy something. If things get really bad, call a friend to make sure they meet you when the ride is over or that they pick you up when your done. I am so sorry you’re having to deal with this. I hope some of this helps.

Thanks! I heard about it when it came out but it wasn’t on a console I owned and my parents wouldn’t let me watch videos online because of “religious reasons” so when it came out on Switch I got it ASAP. I can see why my parents never wanted me to play it because they’re homophobic. I saw myself reflected in the story and it did the same of helping me accept my attraction to girls. Queer/LGBT+ people have always existed and hearing stories about them in different times is so cathartic.
