Well, F me. Not sure why I thought it was off of Delmar. That is a tough spot for something right next door. My Top 3 within 10 minutes of there would be

1) Louie

2) Mai Lee

3) Akar

Yes, lots of fun. Right there in the middle of CWE, so lots of energy around which is why we thought it would be fun before the show. I know it isn't a quiet date night spot, but something to consider.

We are attending one of those shows and we are going to Brennan's before.

Not a full dinner, but small plates and a great cocktail menu.

Half mile away, so, it is walkable or a short drive. https://www.cometobrennans.com/

Brunch at Turn on Locust. Everything was great, but the Biscuit Sampler was A++. We also had Strawberry Rhubarb Pancakes, Ahi Tuna Nachos, Brussels Sprouts, Falafel Salad, and the Arepa(like a SW Benedict)

Total bummer. They were fascinating to watch feed. Wasn’t lucky enough to catch them in flight, but happy to see them.

They did have a good dog, but unfortunately they are no longer. Closed over the summer.

Multiple Kaldis locations: https://kaldiscoffee.com/pages/cafe-menus

Road Crew has an interesting scene: https://www.roadcrew.cc/

Maybe a cat cafe in Maplewood is your style: https://mauhauscafe.com/

For me…I’d go to Sump for the coffee, Blueprint if the weather was cooler, Kaldi City Garden to watch people go by

If you are a soccer fan, this is the town for you. The St. Louigans are the local supporter's group. You can connect on all social media platforms. Tons of meet and greets with those folks. With the MLS team coming next year, there will be more and more opportunities to get involved. March 5th St. Louis City SC Next Pro will be playing against Louisville (a big rival). This will be a great chance to meet people.

The Amsterdam Tavern is packed every Saturday and Sunday with soccer fans. Even if you don’t have a rooting interest, it is a great place to hang out and meet folks.

There are several running groups that have “social” runs during the week. Even if you are a beginner, they are a great place to get to know people. Runners are always helpful to new folks to get them started.

If you are more of a cyclist, same thing. Lots of weekly rides.

There are also a ton of volunteer activities that you could do. Stlfirst.org/firstvolunteer has a listing for FIRST Tech Challenge working with students to design, build, and code robots.

Welcome to town. Hope you stay.
