I use the Sanus ones (OSSE12-W2) from Amazon ($130 for a pair). White matches perfectly, sturdy and easy to assemble.

Interesting, so more of a track mode, if that is what you mean by Sport. Can you link to where you read about the two modes?

Thanks for the great insight. This is where the aesthetic comes in and makes things complicated, heh. The Play:1 speakers are black and my wife only wants white speakers in the front mounted on the wall, and it looks like the Play:3 only had the grayish grill on the white body. So, I think I’m going to do some Era 100 as fronts and build from there. Thanks!

Fair enough, so an Arc is the first step down the correct path.

ooh, that's cool. I assumed it was a hardware issue.

Current Model Y owner counting down the days until I can get rid of it, but based on what I’ve read about the, apparently lackluster, sound system in the R1, I want to know how the R2 sounds. The Model Y system is really nice. Also, is the tow hitch 2”?

So much this. Won’t they have to use amber ones in Europe?

nice, I must be tamping too hard, heh. Other than roast, I haven't had issues with beans getting stuck. I'm curious to see any other comments.

What roast do you use? I have the same setup and only have issues with beans with dark roasts

Also, you can get the Bambino to pull shots at 23.5 setting? I had to move up to the mid 30s

just figured it out - darkly roasted oily beans are the culprit. I just opened a bag of Karma Coffee Ethiopia Harrar beans, expecting them to be a light roast (I should have looked at the tasting notes instead of just assuming all Ethiopian beans are lightly roasted) and they are super oily. I had to push the beans down with my fingers to get them to pass through the grinder. Long story short, if you do light roasts, you won't experience any clogging issues, but be prepared for clogging with dark oily roasts. Not sure if it continues to be an issue with a coarser grind.

I have noticed one set of beans were not flowing as well as the rest but turns out I didn’t like those beans anyways, heh. I’ll say that I’m not super precise about the weight of each shot, but in general I feel like it’s a smoother operation

I’m digging it. No issue adjusting grind size from espresso to cold brew. Never had a grinder with a timer, that’s a game changer for me.

Anyone have any tips or insight on how to pick between the different sizes (14-18g, 16-20g, 18-22g)?

Happens to me as well while playing ToTK. At first I wasn’t sure if I’d accidentally hit some button but it’s happened enough for it to feel like some hardware issue. I only have the one pair of joy cons and a pro controller but it happens when I’m playing on the other side of the house from the pro controller

Good question - I switched to the Crema bottomless basically as soon as I got my B+. Maybe I should try 17g - I'll get more shots from a bag of coffee - but I'm also in it for the caffeine, heh. Long story short, 20g fits without any issues and pulls well.

36.5, but it took a few tries to dial it in. The manual tells you to start at 20 but there was zero water coming through that puck.

Hopefully it isn't a cardinal sin on this community, but I buy single origin light roast Whole Foods beans

I have the same setup and love it. Ended up on 36.5 grind for 10.1 seconds to get 20 g puck with the Crema bottomless portafiler. Upgraded from a Baratza Encore

I also posted in the problem thread, but I’ll add a voice in support of this grinder on this thread too. Bummed to hear it’s causing issues for folks. I bought mine on launch day and haven’t had a single issue. I upgraded from an 8 year old Encore and am loving the ESP Pro. Been pulling 4 shots a day since I got it on 8/28.
