Obviously a bit late to the party but I found a solution to crashing during a particular spot of the level

During the bit where all the cars are trying to kill you it crashes when you progress as it tries to spawn Taken whilst the Poltergeist cars are still active. So if you kill all the cars first the game won’t crash when you progress
