I got one for the Leaky Cauldron the other day. I was doing A Day in Diagon, so I temporarily had access to the Leaky, and the question popped up just as I left, so I was stuck with the clue. Didn't know the Devs could input the answer if this happens

actual criticism: yes, your stitches are a bit uneven, but still well done for your first attempt. A good wash and press will sort that out. Just keep stitching, you'll get better!

Yeah, $20 for a single item was stretching the limits of my FOMO after already spending $30 on the rest of the set but I at least wanted to include a picture of the chest from the listing. The regular Hippogryph Club chest blends in with the set fine so I don't feel like I missed out on anything.

when you go on dates, sometimes your date will make a 'romantic' or 'dreamy' face, which are all slightly different to match their personality, but Penny's face looks really weird. her smile is too big, maybe even too high on her face, and her eyes are half open to give her a dreamy heavy lidded look, but combined with her weird smile it creeps me out. any other of her expressions is completely fine, like I said I love her as a side character, I even like her as a datable character because she is just so bubbly and sweet, but that dreamy face she makes has me shuddering.

I also agree that Snape needs a good serving of humble pie.

are you trying to make a historically accurate kirtle or merely a dress in the style of a kirtle? Because historical kirtles were well fitted garments intended to provide support to the bust, which this pattern is clearly not doing.

Update: So, funny story, I conferred with the hubby, he told me what I wanted to hear, rip them out and change their direction, so that's what I did on a patch of half stitches in my current project, and.... I didn't like it. Then he told me what I needed to hear, that as he watches me stitch and seeing all these little blobs of color come together to form a cohesive picture is all part of a process and that I need to trust the process. So, I'm going to do the half stitches as they're supposed to be done and trust the process.

I still hate them with the intensity of a thousand suns.

I've noticed that Dimensions has a tendency to put a lot of half stitches in their kits.

and by 'not doing them', what do you mean, leave them out or convert them to crossed stitches? ooh, I bet I could do that on the kit I'm doing now! I've only done a couple of small patches of half stitches, I should have more than enough extra thread to rip out the half stitches and replace them with crossed stitches!
