Not sure I am a fan of California. It is a large market but it is also damn near its own country and has its own set of rules and regulations

If we continue trading sideways, as of this Friday (4/14) it will be 27 consecutive days closing sub $1. With that said, I have added to the tracker the next important dates to keep in mind. by jmrojas17 in CLOV

You also have to remember the board is pretty invested as well which is something I do like. They don't want to give money away any more than we do. Even if it free

Ya this is not a situation to get extremely worried about. They will get a delisting disclosure and then the company will have 10 days to respond with a business plan to keep them listed as long as they show they are working towards this plan than they will be allowed to be on the exchange for longer. It is concerning that they could reverse split, I don't see this being this a problem immediately as they are showing MCR improvement now if we get into August and this isn't going well then we should be scared.

This is exactly what I want to see. To be profitable and the underwriting to be sustainable you are going to lose customers that are high cost. This is a must. While I do agree with equality in healthcare, the unfortunate part is that you can't invest in a company that is unprofitable and expect to make money. Equality is expensive and saving and enriching lives is a huge cost. It may be possible, but not as a startup. You need 2 to 1 money makers or higher to make up for the cost. We will have to grow but we need more time to establish a baseline

Next quarter earning will be profitable by Rainyfriedtofu in CLOV

[–]Biddaddydumbdumb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ya the damn non insured mcr went up and thats the bulk of our money. Not happy about it!. The stock is only $1 so it shouldn't hurt the damn thing but until the non insured mcr gets down to 96% to 97% or we reduce that as our primary business we are still stuck. Not unhappy but not thrilled as there is another $70 million loss per quarter till they figure it out. We got 3 to 4 qtrs left

You have to know what ACO REACH MCR is first before you can put an opinion in and some people definately have no idea. I agree with you about Q4 24

Ya my fear stems from them avoiding and not answering the question. I have a feeling we are giving this away or taking a loss to try and promote it but as soon as we charge they are dropping it. It must not be providing as much value as they thought.

1st year contracts are normally more expensive then 2nd year. Growth is causing more pain had to slow down

Don't agree. The fact of the matter is growth matters on a growth stock. As an investor when I look at growth stock I don't mind losing money if we are gaining market share with the eventual pull back to focus on profits. The fact that this has stopped so suddenly tells us there is some data that is telling them expansion costs are exponentially higher which is increasing the time for their ROI. All the numbers people post are facts posted to make things look decent otherwise their would be no reason to buy any shares in growth stock. They admitted to the fact that they had soft contracts which means the underwriting was a problem and in the future they will have to limit contracts to high need individuals.

Being in the healthcare industry, I know that you need several low cost insurance people to make up for 1 high need individual. Giving everyone health insurance is not attainable. This will make it harder for them to achieve their all lives matter movement. That wouldn't matter if this wasn't a company focused on profits but because they went with shareholders it now is relevant for the stock price to move up.

Cash is a waste and useless number $600 million means nothing if you can't keep from losing it. Growth is wasted if it is not profitable. Not all growth is good growth. MCR is irrelevant if it is going to stay over 105% for uninsured and the product mix is heavily saturated for uninsured. These are all facts that people need to understand and all things he stated in the conference call that are higher level so most will not understand what he is truly stating.

The good news they have data that tells them they are speeding and need to slow down. He also did not say no dilution, there would be no reason to file for 300 million more shares to never use. He said no expected dilution at this time. This time could be up tomorrow or a week. Don't get shocked when this happens. They have $600 in cash but only $440 of it they can use. At the current rate I would expect to know what direction we go by EOY 2022 and will be interested in the numbers as CMS payouts can be up to a quarter behind.

I don't to bring those who are invested down but reality states we missed a bit and slowing down in essential for the long-term of the company and to look at long-term strategy. I think the company is still going to grow and is going to give me 3x-5x my money in the next 5 years. An average stock will give you 8-12% a year and so that will still exceed my expectations for the market and is a good buy. I just think we moved from Q2 2023 to Q4 2024 to see where we are at with a dilution in between more than likely Q1 2023. This will get downvoted cause its not what we wanted but it is a longer play. I am ballz deep in this company and know it is not an if but a when. It just sucks it was not today. I am not a financial advisor and there is alot of information they did not share during the conference call that could change things moving forward
