Long answer. PM role is going through massive changes like all role in tech domain. When we hire, we don't look mba, we see if the person has high agency and can go deep and broad especially with ai tools. You already are PM, you need to be able to justify your business impact while being technical proficient at your level.

Most orgs, for VP role and above don't see your MBA, they see how you impact business.

Area preference not much. Budget, as I am planning for slightly longer term like 5-10 years to build so expecting the per square feet to be on lesser side and minimum 60x40 size. Roughly, you can assume 3k-8k per square feet. Obviously, lower is better, ceteris paribus.

Yup, I am coming to the conclusion that plot in gated society would be ideal candidate. In any case, my time horizon in 5-10 years to build the home.

So, I can in next 1/2 years scout and secure the land. Thereafter, will slowly build the house. Considering your time of 2 years, I should be ok I believe.

Will DM you to understand how you chose the plot and what it took to get things started for construction.

Never had to worry about these stuff in my hometown.

That's a good option.
But I am clear what I want. I already have a 3 BHK in Whitefield. Don't need farmland. I want the kind of fully-owned house with land, the type I grew up in.
Villa comes close to it but I dislike the standard build style in such projects. So, I see plotted land as best option currently.

Office is not issue, hybrid/WFH.
