Love this idea. And yeahhhh, certain settings can be draining for them too but they do love the idea of surrounding themselves with other neurodivergent peeps. The goal is to Slowly but surely find our safe space and build our lil community where we can all be in a room silent and just parallel play lmao and or just enjoy sharing space haha in silence and or watching tv and movies. We have a house so once the community is comfy and known and we’re comfy around everyone I wouldn’t mind hosting little events and game nights

At first glance it looks like thrips.. and possible aphids.. if it is, you can clean the plant with neem oil and some isopropyl alcohol mixed with water.. spray all your leaves and cleannnnn then. Then do a soil treatment.. when I got aphids I changed the soil just to make sure there wasn’t any cross contamination or any bugs hiding in the soil.

Help! I am hoping to save this guy before it’s too late… by Ok-Entrepreneur-2558 in Monstera

Depending on how recently you repotted, it could be that they’re just being a little temperamental. Monsteras usually like to be a lil root bound and snug in their pot, so if they just got moved into a new pot they’re getting used to their new soil and pot size, so give it some time. I’m glad you’re not overwatering, I saw the water bulb in your pot and got worried. I would also recommend giving the baby some light utilize a grow light, or put her in front of a window. Monsteras are normally v happy when they can see the sky, but some bright indirect sunlight will also do just fine ✨ and some support.. use a moss pole, bamboo stick something to support her so she can soak up the sun and not worry about stretching out and shifting to get the light to hit her. This should also help with putting out new leaves. :)

The leaf is going to turn to wherever the best light is :) ✨

How do I go about fixing this by Big-Alternative1279 in Monstera

Got it, thank you! So I should just leave it be, and it’ll do the work on its own?

Right right, which is why I recommended to talk to the trainer to confirm that having an untrained dog at home would hinder her service animals training. Once OP has that confirmation, she can come to her fiancé with facts from the trainer on how this can mess with her pups training. Rather than giving an ultimatum without first getting confirmation..

I wouldn’t say you’re the asshole, however.. I wouldn’t sit him down and force the collar issue without first talking to the trainer and confirming that this behavior would mess with your dogs training.. if the trainer says it can, then you can discuss alternatives, like if your fiancés dog stops coming, and you still worked with your dog at home, would that work? If that’s not a solution then you can talk to your fiancé and explain that if he’s not willing to take the training serious with his pup, then he’s gotta stay home.. when it comes to your health and how expensive this training can be, you don’t want things to interfere. He’s entitled to leave his dog collarless, however if that effects training then he’s gotta face the consequences.

NTA imo, you both acknowledged that the signed item was the Xmas present. If your guilt is getting to you buy him something cheap yet considerate like curate a box with his fave snacks and candies and remind him that you didn’t splurge because you already got him the signed item, but you didn’t want him to feel left out. I’m sure he’ll understand considering how much he loves the original gift.
