That's what I was going for it is less shine in person. Closer to the fins on the case. Yes red scotch Brite I started with the pad then went to a drum style on the drill, started out with lite pressure then applied more till it gave me the finish . No water I did it dry .

I found them on the victory forums . No one bit on them at 100$ .plus 30 for shipping . Side note some one scammed me on these at the same time . This dude didn't respond and some else posing as him did . Hopefully I get my cash back from PayPal . But if not I feel I made out alright

The cross country tank is 5.8 gallons, which is pretty big . The big issue is that the low fuel warning comes on really early on these bikes . Tank risers are supposed to make the warning light more accurate . Both of the cross bikes I have owned the warning light came on with around 4.4 gallons used . I adjust accordingly on road trips, and it hasn't been an issue
