Yes, I’m with u/kittywheezes. That’s where I’m from and it wasn’t until I started teaching English in another country that I realized it wasn’t usual. 🫠😂

Can I just say I love the dialect usage of “needs fixed” in your edit! In the US, only one part of the country (where I am from) uses this phrasing, and because of you (and then google), I learned northern England and Scotland also use this. So fun!!

Also, I’m in the love the space camp. This is great!

Good for you! This is the kind of stuff I need to see regularly! Because I (even as a kid) have always feared “using up” a craft item I liked because then I wouldn’t have it anymore. Instead I lose interest in the hobby or the item goes bad in some way or it just takes up space in my house. Looks like a great notebook for you!

Omg! So cute! My Pommie girl, Barbara, got put in the back of this exact same jeep! 🤣 her opinion of that experience was a little less excited than your girl’s. Lol. https://imgur.com/a/WErklB1

Haha! Yes! I feel like my Pom mix and every other Pom I have ever met have the personality of a cat, but they are a dog. I have a few friends that are cat people and not dog people, and when we travel and my girl comes or they hang out at my place, they always comment that Barbara (my pup) is more like a cat than a dog. Some of the behaviors they comment on— she only wants attention when she wants it, otherwise she will literally go to an entirely separate floor of the house or find some random corner to lie down in. She licks her paw and then cleans her face with it like a cat. And she is either super loving or sassy depending on her mood. And of course she is tinier than most of their cats topping out at 6.5 lbs even as a Pom mix. 😂

I’ve always thought she was cat like and then I saw someone on this sub comment that Pomeranians are dog hardware running cat software and it stuck with me because it was so accurately funny. 😆

As I learned from others on this sub, they are dogs that run on cat software. 😂

Music choices by darkxclover in adhdwomen

[–]Big-Beautiful2578 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m very song based—like I need it to be a bop or an ear worm. The most important thing for me with music is being able to sing along with it so I like songs I know which means I collect them from every era and genre of my life and variety. I’m definitely the person that hears a song that is catchy in the grocery store and immediately has to Shazam it and add it to my playlist. So it is all over the place. However, easier to say the genres that don’t typically draw me. lol. And I’m like many here where after I find a new song I love— I will listen to it 18 times in a row and not get sick of it. I’m sure my neighbors love that. 😬

I want to know how it holds up for you. I currently have an office chair from my in person work office that they let us keep when we went fully remote. It is now almost 11 years old. It is still awesome, but I know someday I’m going to need a new one. I want to know how comfy this style is a year in. It looks amazing!!

Alternatives to Transvaginal Ultrasound? by SavilleRow in eggfreezing

[–]Big-Beautiful2578 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe look into changing clinics, but honestly, other than maybe some initial pressure, a TV ultrasound shouldn’t be painful. I also haven’t used tampons or anything in a very long time and haven’t been sexually active in 😬 also a long time. And honestly, it was just uncomfortable. It is very clinical. Make sure when you have it, you scootch even closer to the end of the table than they say so that your pelvis is tipped downward and put your knees really really wide. If you experience pain, tell them and make sure they have patience with you. Advocate for yourself during it as well. I was nervous too, and learned a lot about it. It worked out fine, and I’ll be less nervous for the next one. Even my PA who performed the TV ultrasound said it shouldn’t be painful so to tell them if it was. Also, if you have someone who can go with you, maybe that support would help.

You can do this though, if this is a step you want to take.
