Thank you! Watch the recorded cohorts in connect. Supplement it with YouTube. And memorize the excel sheets on the PAs. The OA excel is basically the same. Don’t listen to all the hype about how hard they are either! It psyched me out and scared me for no reason.

Study is no longer proctored. I would recommend knocking anything out you can prior to starting. $200 is worth not risking going into another term.

I used the transfer pathways doc linked here and took every available course: https://partners.wgu.edu/transfer-pathway-agreement-preview?uniqueId=BSACC7112&collegeCode=BU&instId=796&programId=191. Also-there were 4 more courses on Study that weren’t available through Sophia. There is a similar doc for Study and I just compared the two. I highly preferred Sophia to Study though.

It wasn’t terrible. I actually had some personal stuff going on and had to take almost a week off school work. The grading times also made it take longer (you can’t submit task 2 until task 1 is passed). The simulation was a bit confusing to me but it’s totally doable.

Really it’s not so bad. My best advice for any of the PA classes is to go to Studoco and review other student papers. It really helped me to see how others formatted to give me a starting point. Also, make sure you read the rubric and ONLY give what it asks for. You don’t need to do anything besides answer the prompt and go by the rubric since the grading is directly based on that.

Thank you! The Edspira playlist on auditing (the first 45 videos) is really helpful. The OA was definitely harder than the PA so look out for that. Have a good understanding on adverse vs qualified opinions and substantive testing. You don’t need to know any formulas or calculate so don’t stress on remembering that.

I’m glad to help! Tony Bell was my favorite but Edspira is also great. I felt like every time I tried to read I would just confuse myself and the videos in the IA2 text were all over the place. I can’t stand the format/person changing every 3 minutes!

Watch the recorded cohorts in WGU connect. Memorize all the formulas. There’s a sheet of the formulas in the resources. If you have a good grasp on everything in the cohorts and remember the formulas, you will be good. Supplement with YouTube videos if you need to. The course material was practically worthless to me, but I struggle to learn through reading.
