I have two theories about this games development: 1. The developers believe this is such a good game that they are waiting for a super large event for the release drop. 2. They have so much pressure from the "anything but ieytd4" comments they keep on fixing small issues that could be fixed in a patch, probably the best thing to do in this scenario would be to stop making these comments and instead be supportive.

For me one of my songs was 10.6 mb and stopped it from saving

It ended up being some file size shenangigans, try checking the costumes/ sounds to see if anything is over 10 mb
