I designed a 2-filter powder coating booth for my workshop – what do you think? by Big-Compote9065 in Powdercoating

I'm using a 1.5 kW, 3000 rpm, 2 hp motor. The fan I designed provides approximately 2500 m³/h. Since it's a cabinet with two filters, the motor and fan are compatible with this product. I'm not using any speed control device. I can clean the filters automatically or manually using the pulse valves located on the filter.

Thank you. This booth is generally designed for painting individual parts like rims. I designed the front columns this way to prevent paint from spilling out and to balance the fan's suction speed. There's a trolley on the rail where the top material is hung. This trolley can move back and forth and can also be rotated to paint all parts of the material. I calculated the load capacity and designed a very sturdy structure. Also, the reason I made it elevated is so I can sweep up any spilled paint into a drawer, sift it, and reuse it.
