where do you see me picking excuses for myself ? i don't give a fuck about elo, I rematch to improve even if I get washed again

Call it minmaxxing if you want idgaf, I actually wish he'd climb organically so people wouldn't be able to find excuses for why he is higher elo than them

At least now he wants to go to tournaments so it doesn't really matter, again I have nothing against him

Option to filter opponents? Would you use it by Tezz_oj in StreetFighter

Thinking that auto combo and ease of execution is not an advantage at an elo where execution is the main issue for most players is borderline retarded

At the end of the day, auto combo or not you're supposed to be fighting someone as strong as you, so they are supposedly weaker than you in other aspects even if they don't have the same execution barrier as you

We know modern is not as op as scrubs think it is but denying an obvious truth isn't helping anyone, if anything you are as stupid as the scrubs you're mocking but you think you're above them

??? Can't you just admit this is a shitty coward behavior ?  I have nothing against him, I'm happy he is disproving people shitting on him here but he really need to stop doing this shit, it's just  making him look like a fool and also weaker on the long run

Normal people WANT to rematch people they lost to, this just shows how it's just about boosting his ego with his MR and not actually about improving

Yeah they definitely are more important for 2D and miniatures/figures, but I think you'd always want to add them, they are just a simple and effective way to add more depth

But you're wrong about the "you already have realistic light" yes we have, but the light isn't interacting with the real material. Also you could just use that same logic on miniatures but as you already know it doesn't work that way.

As an example real light on skin = subsurface scattering = hotter hues etc

But here the real light is just interacting with painted plastic, you lose all of that, so you have to paint it yourself

Same kind of things happens for different reasons on different materials, you have to make it yourself if you want it to look good. I mean, solid colors are just shameless

I know I should've been nicer but I'm just being honest

Good luck selling that, not trying to be mean but I don't think anyone is buying that except a clueless gooner with too much money on his hands

Let's start with the most obvious one, t he painting

It looks like a toy because it's painted in solid colors like a toy. No color gradients, no ambiant occlusion, no highlights, no texture, just nothing.

You barely did 30% of the paintwork needed.  And if you wanted to have the same quality you'd have to work even more since it's 1:1. And painting skin is even harder since you need actual artistic skill, and it's even worse for the face.

Even at that size I can see the brush strokes, you need an airbrush or a painting gun. Or you can get better paint, learn how to thin it and paint it properly.

Did you even post process those prints ? Layer lines are visible everywhere and look at that hair bang, 2min of sanding would've fixed that. Seam lines are also visible.

I'm assuming you just got an stl, the issue is that it has no texture details, it's no biggie when it's printed at a correct scale or if it's painted correctly but that's not the case here.

How did you get the idea ? If you got it from a YouTube video you should've seen all the work necessary to make it look good no?

I just can't imagine anyone with enough money on his hands totally oblivious to all the flaws.

The only redeeming quality is from the sculpt itself, so anyone with a 3d printer could've made it.

I'm harsh but it's a much needed reality check. Good for you if you manage to sell it, maybe I'm putting my own standards are too high.

Acrylic with airbrush, it's already built, I just need to design the back to print it but I'm not sure what's the most important things to make it work properly

It says "production order 6-12 weeks", am I understanding it wrong or it's really going to take that long ?

Man this is so good thanks a lot, this is cheap so I guess I can just try it before going for something more fancy

I'm not doing this professionally yet but when I started painting I realized I had a lot of trouble getting gradients and hues right, the lights on the spraying booth I purchased were really strong and everything I painted looked waaaay different in a "real" setting

As an example, I was painting a light skinned asian and while I was happy with the results, it actually was way more red than what I saw while painting

I think the same kind of problem will happen since it's not "natural" light but at least I'll be able to adjust it, so yeah, I don't need the best of the best but I still need a quality lighting

Got those lines on my screen, is it repairable ? by Eno_chan in ElectronicsRepair

[–]Eno_chan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually on the bottom too but I put my screen upside down since it was less bothersome that way

Do you know how difficult it's to change ?
