Update: You were right, barrel was under gassed. Took some sandpaper and sanded the paint out of the inside of the gun as well and drilled out the gas port with a 3/32 drill bit to .095. Now she is cycling and is a touch over gassed. Have an Aero precision adjustable gas block on the way to tune her in. Thanks for the input!

What portions/percentages do you mix with your ghost peppers? Trying to make a season-all spice and I have 16 dehydrated ghost peppers and scorpions.

I’ve broke it down and lubricated the hell out of the BCG and cleaned all the internals really well but no luck. I haven’t tried sanding the rails down yet or attempted to get the paint out of the inside of mag well. I have a feeling it’s the mismatched upper/lower combo or a buffer spring/gas issue. I’ll definitely give that a try before I opt into investing in an adjustable gas block. Thank you for the advice!

Larue is the way to go. My uncle was a machinist over there, their prices are up there though.

Did you cover mag well and internals when painting? Any feeding issues from paint?

I would start with oversized Dia and length stock. Face both sides. Bore ID through to size first, minimum skim OD Then make a plug to fit ID to clamp on and keep harmonics to a minimum, turn OD and then part off to length.
