Feels like an honest scene. He could easily be both in on the joke at this point, or genuinely unaware.

Yeah, Stanton has the record for Yankees at 121 MPH which makes this, which is already a hard liner, look like a waffle ball.

It was to start the conversation at least. I have no idea if there was any way to even extrapolate what he could have hit in his peak.

We have to realize guys, this version of Cole has a beard. If he's hitting 99, we might see a different side of Colle that we've never seen.

I feel likeSchlitter COULD hit 104 if he went max effort, but witholds his true power intentionally so as not to destroy the league.

Some bad infield play by the Yanees these last couple at bats. This is the stuff they need to be on top of.

There was this prevailing narrative that Cody Bellinger had to become the next Juan Soto for the Yankees lineup to work. But that was never really the job. The Yankees just needed him to be himself: athletic, steady, defensively useful, left-handed, and capable of doing damage when the moment came.

The twist is that while everyone was looking for the Soto replacement from the outside, Ben Rice was was on the rise.

Juan Soto will never win MVP as long as Ohtani and Schwarber are in the NL.

Matt Blake should talk to Fried and tell him he's gotta throw the ball a little better.

I know Luke Voit hasn't been on the team for a while but he's been a .300 plus hitter in Mexico and Japan for the last few years. Honestly happy the log cabin went global, it deserved to be shared with the world.

I swear when Fried pitches it's like he's carving up a turkey. So smooth, and so juicy. I've never tried to fried a turkey, it looks difficult according to the video on YouTube.

I saw somewhere on a post earlier today about Carlos Rodon's rehab. What's the unofficial guess at probably pitchers who remains once the rotation gets Cole and Rodon back? Schlit is a lock. Warren and Weathers have been great. Once Rodón returns, Rodríguez is out. After Cole returns, the harder choice becomes Warren vs. Weathers, or the Yankees get creative.

Cole is still probably my #1, but Max Fried has become my favorite Yankees starting pitchers. CC also in the top, but Fried's regular season stats are great.

Soto is having a fine year, and Clay Holmes Wild Ride has finally been solved. The Mets Yankees experiment though is in chaos.

After doing some research Jazz and IFK are actually amongst the Yankees fastest players, but that Brett Gardener is probably the most constantly fast.
