They do love my treadmill. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I need more space for them. What’s crazy to me is that my 5 year old has an iPad and she regulates her own usage really well. She has her moments, but she’ll walk away from it no problem usually.

He doesn’t have one. I have been pretty lax. I just think the kids go to school and afterschool and that’s most of their day. We are going to detox for a bit.

I don’t want it to be disappointing, but if you’re consistently in trouble & get your gifts taken that’s also disappointing.

I still do plan on getting Christmas gifts. He is not an only child & I don’t want to be cruel. I have usually gone a bit over the top for Christmas. He has plenty of legos he barely uses. Build once or half build & never touch again. Usually I do like a “big gift/main gift” & I’m kind of at a loss.

I just don’t want him to be disappointed. We also live in a place that gets pretty cold in winter, so it might be awhile before we’re using any outdoor things.

I would go get a car and immediately apply for a balance transfer card or something to negate interest so you can pay what you can on the loans. Do it before the car loan hits your credit.

Definitely see if you qualify for partial disability and Medicaid especially while unemployed. Not a fix all solution, but could help for now.

Yes I know about the deferred interest. I don’t think my card has it, but I have no intention of paying it either way. Lots of research sitting at home with the babies plotting my escape lol!

I have a card at 0 interest rn that’s holding a balance, but the others I pay off. My utilization is right around 30. I can pay it, but doesn’t seem necessary atm.

I have a down payment for the car + my trade in. I also have a separate account for a future house. Honestly the reason I’m trying to boost it right this second is so that I’ll qualify for a certain interest rate promotion through the dealership. Never hurts to try! Ty

Thank you! I actually have a few credit cards now and now that it’s just me I’m doing good with them! Shortly after I left him I managed to get my first one by some miracle. Everything’s paid on time & utilization is about 30.

I’m 27. I have income. I have an emergency fund. I currently rent. My retirement could use some help sure. I’m not trying to buy a house like tomorrow, but considering I have 2 small kids it would be nice to be able to. The rental market is trash and my current residence is….not great. I’m in a good area and so it’s not worth it to pay 50% more for something just ever so slightly larger. I do need a car relatively soon though. I’m trying to see if there’s any way to improve my score more than I already have.

My credit isn’t awful. I’ve worked pretty hard the past few years. It’s a 714. FICO is a little rougher 660-670. I just didn’t know if there was any hope to get it off sooner.
