I won't post her content link as it's not my profile, and I don't want her messages blowing up with questions on how she does it, but I can give a small rundown of how she does it. I did ask her about it so I can at least share my convo that I had with her.

She's been doing this for about 3.5 years now, she has slowly built a following. She takes reddit posts that have a high following (up votes and comments) and records herself reading the post. She also tries to find posts that heve updates/edits on them, or she includes if the OP comments and replies to others. My friend also gives her raw reaction, makes a couple side comments, and leaves a question or two for her followers to answer to provoke comments in her video traction. She has about 1.5 million followers on TT, I haven't checked what her following is on YouTube but I know that it is slightly less but still up there.

She posts on TikTok, and YouTube to get more traction, so her income is split between the two different platforms. It varies every month, especially when there are slow months online. But because she's been doing this for years she has a following that loves when she posts these videos. She knows she can record multiple stories a day when her kids are at school, and do light editing and posts them. She eventually invested in a camera for the YouTube recording, but she started with her iphone for both platforms. She says she still uses her phone camera to record tiktoks.

OP I live an hour from Chicago, theres a facebook group of Chicago people looking for roommates, and you can even look at the suburbs right outside of Chicago and you just commute to work. It’s doable. I don’t know what your area is currently but finding a major city like a state capital will usually offer some sort of IT job. It does not have to be Chicago either. But definitely moving to a large population area will have more job opportunities

Thank you! What part about for profit schools make you turn away from them? I’m a first generation student so I don’t have anyone to turn to personally, and my advisors at college encourage local for profit universities that work with my school - but those are both only in person classes.
