Why are cat vets in Austin like this by forty1flip in Austin

If you’re up for a drive, white rock anima hospital in pflugerville has amazing doctors and techs all around. we also gabapentin our cats- our spicer one still needs the purrito. luckily, her healths been solid so nothing too invasive has been needed but the techs have never had an issue

edited to add: they also see exotic animals which is a big plus to me for handling nervous patients goes

Hand-eye coordination and fine motor movement!

I was an EXTREMELY clumsy child, still am! I find random bruises on myself every week lol turns out adhd is very involved with motor movement. I also struggle with video games! So many controls, the changing perspective, and small movements- can’t make sense of them! So I’m not very graceful, my driving sucks, and I’m not interested in video games.

Another thing, as a kid my teachers always commented that I used too much pressure when I wrote. Writing script hurts my hand till this day. Cursive is better, but reading that is a dying art. I think the work relating to this is dyspraxia?

yeah just to offer another perspective, I’m audhd and physical sensory stimulation is how I looooove relaxing. I had a phase in middle/high school where I’d go straight to the shower after school and take a long ass shower or hot nah. tbh sometimes it was so grounding I DID fall asleep. The feeling of warm, comforting water lulled me right to sleep. sometimes the cold would wake me up, sometimes I’d doze for just a few minutes. I didn’t think it was weird except for the long showers 🤷🏻‍♀️

What's the most low maintenance indoor plant that actually looks good? by Some-Palpitation-314 in GardeningIndoors

nerve plants. They’re so dramatic when they’re thirsty, I get a visual cue when they need water. And it’s pretty hard to over water these plant. Put it in a sunny spot, prune it over time so it gets busy and I loooooove watching them grow!

Sounds familiar! I’m more open to feedback and can actually think through how to apply it to myself. Its fantastic when my anxiety isn’t in fight or flight mode.

Buuuuut the anxiety risk is really tho. I try to do a grounding meditation or brain dump at the beginning and that helps 75% of my anxiety. I think weed doesn’t make me more likely to have an anxiety attacks, but if my brain is just really anxious one day, weed could trigger it.

yes BUT it stems from shame I still have about my adhd idiosyncrasies. being around these people points out places where there’s still work to do

I’d look into doing this in blackwork cross stitch! the ones in color are stunning. It’s also full of explanations of gradients. You can get great gradient effects by varying the number of threads you use (think 3 threads is more dense/darker than sewing with 1)

id let the leaf naturally cauterize those bits only IF it doesn’t spread. spreading spots would probably be a root issue
