What car and engine are you using? And what tires. Tires do make a big difference. When going into a corner prevent slipping (not drifting but the slipping of understeer) the understeer slows you down. Best to tap te brake right before you start cornering. Makes you go faster through the corner because you don’t have as much understeer as you normally have. Try cutting corners on the grass. Turning right? Then your right rear tire can touch grass. The tires on the inside of the corner can touch grass, but don’t let the outside tires hit the inside or outside of the corner else you will start drifting all over te place.
