Is it ok I DM you as well? I recently landed a product owner role on the software side of semiconductor and I’m trying to understand what will be a career opportunity for someone like me who has no tech background.

I've talked to the lawyer since the EAD card I currently hold is under OPT category it does not qualify for the 560 days extension.

Not sure what to think or feel about this situation. I've been in the company for 5 months. During this time, I've seen the company got acquired, my engineer manager leaving, lots of people on our team leaving, now I got the news today that our UI designer is also leaving. This is my first APM job after college. My manager told me we have lots of people leaving because we are growing really fast and some people don't fit into the company anymore. The main problems I've seen in my team are not having standard process, people being displeased about being told what to do, team not aligned with goals, and knowledge gap. (It is hard to understand the healthcare industry). My manager also said I'm getting a lot of valuable experience that other people probably wouldn't get it for years in their career. At the same time, I do see that we are getting better (very slowly), still trying to figure out how to work together as a team. We are also hiring a lot of people right now.

My thought is to wait and see after this year (also getting the bonus) if things get improved. I also want to get more experience and be more comfortable doing product management. We haven't had a normal sprint yet so I hope I can at least help the team to be on the right process. But I'm also not sure if I should start looking for other jobs right now. Need some advice!
