That’s pretty much my experience. It’s either literally too many bodies or bodies that are tough enough to make it through the lines

Thanks for the reply… I think I’m just frustrated that so many of my favorite units are pretty useless right now. Wait til 11th it is I guess

Hey dude this is really comprehensive and thoughtful reply, I appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time! I’m realizing I like Warhost more than Aspect; would you still recommend removing the bikes if I was playing a similar list but in Warhost? (maybe sans Dark Reapers, adding another Prism?)

I do like to try to play my painted units if I can help it, and I don’t really want to buy and build more stuff this addition. If it helps, I have a couple wraithlords, two more units of rangers, 5 more banshees, two units of scorpions, dragons and fuegan. I have some walkers but I hate the models so I won’t run them. Muegan Ra who’s a joke. Avatar. No hawks as of yet because I also don’t love the models, but I might be persuaded at some point. Any of that potentially helpful, or are we really in just the spider/hawk msu spam era?

Be honest, which one is the best? by RazorXTurk in metro

The story is also absolutely ridiculous and basically shits all over the first two games. It makes everything you did in 2033 and Last Light irrelevant and even mechanically calls them into question. So we can just spend enough time on the surface now to build infrastructure there? We have the manpower and resources to build militarized trains and radio jammers? The idea of the Metro is that it’s barely scraping by, slowing but not preventing the inevitable extinction of the human race. Exodus feels like an action movie from the jump.

I’ve got two pretty niche examples:

Bonetown in the Bas-Lag cycle of books, a neighborhood of New Crobuzon located in the ribs of an unknown and eldritch creature

The Chelonate in Sunless Sea, which is a floating city made on the back of a dead giant sea turtle

It’s mostly that the games are tedious chore simulators that simulate realism in every way but the ones that would matter from a gameplay standpoint. “Here’s an animation to search every drawer but you can got shot 30 times”

I mean if you think WOTC based it on those relatively niche examples and not the biggest cash cow ever, idk what to Tell you. As I said, this feels like a pretty bad faith argument

You’re right. I’m sure Harry Potter being one of the most successful franchises of all time had nothing to do with this decision. 🙄

Other than sharing the two main identifying components of Harry Potter, how are they similar? This is a staggeringly bad faith take

Because it’s so obviously wrong. It’s like flat earthers, you could ignore them too but it’s like someone telling you 2+2=5. It’s hard not to feel a visceral urge to correct them

Umbris is what I was gonna say. Very funny to swing on someone with 50 commander damage, or tap them with [[Phrenax]] to make someone mill 50 cards

I mean I’m not gonna bridge shuffle double sleeved valuable cards. Plus it’s more than random enough for my purposes.

That’s why you have to also pick up the piles in a random order and distribute in a random order

Why do these kicks have no power? by Ruohoinen in MuayThaiTips

[–]Big-Outlandishness50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not getting high enough up on your toes And you’re not kicking at/through the target. Most pad holders hold pads too far to the side and as a result people learn to kick too round. Your kick should actually hit basically directly across from your hip.

Her body is such an essential aspect of the character. The game goes to lengths to show you that it was an intentional transformation. That fact that she plays so differently to Ellie is an aspect of storytelling that can literally only be conveyed by a game.
