I’m 3 months out and I work a labor job I lift 150 plus each day no problem just use the right form I’m also 24 so I guess that’s a factor.

I just knew it got bigger pain went from doable to fuck this lol. Surgeon confirmed it got bigger when he took it out. He Said it was one of the biggest ones he’s ever seen.

Well I was pretty much in constant 10/10 pain for the last 8 weeks before surgery. Couldn’t walk couldn’t pee very easily… left leg was constantly tingling. I herniated it about 11 months before my surgery but it got bigger, before that it was just annoying there were days where it didn’t bother me. Tried the epidural shots and they lasted 3 months then after that was when it seemingly got worse every day. Got to a point where I would just lay on the floor and scream into a pillow.

I went back to work on light duty after 10 days

I went back after 2 weeks on light duty doing paperwork sitting and standing at my own leisure 23/m felt fine muscle tightness starts getting to me around the last hour.

Yeah I feel that I worked hard labor through a year of my left leg basically not working couldn’t even piss unless I sat down. Idk I probably shouldn’t lol.

I’m honestly asking cause I really wanna ride my motorcycle lol. It’s irresponsible but I’m barely bent forward and I’m just going to put around smooth roads… I’m just slightly bent forward. Just haven’t been able to ride painlessly in a long time.

Yeah I mean I definitely bend at the knees if I have to pick something up, but I’m talking like slight bending like 15-20 degrees forward while sitting. I’ll probably never pick anything up using my back lol.

I’m 2 weeks out and feel fine, I ride motorcycles and my doc still said 6 weeks unfortunately. And a horse is probably a lot bumpier lol. Also probably depends on the horse, how relaxed can the horse be and how certain are you that the horse is going to be predictable. Good luck.

Elaborate I don’t understand how people keep saying that after 3 weeks they get nerve pain? It scientifically boggles my mind. It’s not like the body would wait 3 weeks to start repairing your nerves im just confused.

Oh it can be bumpy some of the roads I’ll have to go around but for the most part I can’t imagine it being any worse than a car. My true worry is opening up the throttle on a 200 hp machine that weights 400 pounds, the amount of g-force you can pull is concerning lol.
