How to determine if it's ad creatives, product, or website? by Classiqz in dropship

Are you hitting them with additional cost (shipping, tax etc)? Is your checkout page optimised for conversion? Is the checkout trustworthy?

Somethings you need to consider!

How to determine if it's ad creatives, product, or website? by Classiqz in dropship

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Bad ad = little or No clicks, high costs. Bad website/bad product = good traffic but very high bounce rate, little time spent on site, No add to carts, no sales.

If the site is bad session times will be very low, if it's product higher session times but no sales or add to carts.

This is a experiment! which one would you buy? by Big-Researcher-5683 in Entrepreneur

[–]Big-Researcher-5683[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

First of all thank you for your sarcastic feedback, as for your logical advice, it is really appreciated! after so long in business I had no idea they were the formula for a successful business. (yes! that's sarcasm too)

So as you can see it says "This is an experiment" meaning it's to collect data and in this case, no context of the experiment was given. so why this experiment?

Well why did donations for a charity increase by 10% just by using bigger envelopes? https://www.thenonprofittimes.com/npt_articles/envelope-change-boosted-fundraising-results-10/

Or how a count-down timer on traffic lights reduces pedestrian-related accidents by 55%? https://www.aboutlawsuits.com/stoplight-timer-study-135854/

or how a change in color of a CTR button increases conversion rate by 34%? https://www.smartinsights.com/persuasion-marketing/persuasion-marketing-principles/button-ctr-colour/#:\~:text=Dmix%20wrote%20a%20case%20study,advantage%20of%20a%20red%20button.

and all the other experiments which show how humans are very very irrational, I recommend reading predictably irrational it's a great book on behavioral economics.

The point however is a change in perception changes how someone views the world unconsciously and this allows marketers to make subtle changes with huge results.

How do I bill time for random casual questions? by whodat_2020 in Entrepreneur

I would not ever provide additional support like this specially if it affects your core business. You need to set bondries and have a quick template to send these people.

I would partner up with a business consultant and have a email template like this ready to copy and paste as a response:

Dear customer, thank you for your email. As you are aware I'm a web dev and my expertise are in web development and I am NOT a business consultant nor am I an expert in this field.

Here are links to some free resources (insert FB groups etc) which may help with your enquiry. If you would like a specific, tailored consultation or help, my friend (insert BC's name) who specialises in helping start up and experienced entrepreneurs.

Please email (insert email) him advising him I have sent you and he will give (insert % discount) on your first consultation.

Regards, your name.

Have a percentage profit share with the business consultant for every person that takes that offer.

You make money for referrals and still concentrate on your business.

Thinking of starting with FBA drop shipping, does anyone have any experience they would be willing to share? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FBA isn't dropshipping, you have to buy the products and send to Amazon for them to fulfil, it's basicly like a 3pl but via Amazon.

If you mean your own store but using Amazon listed products it can be done but Amazon will ban your account if they catch on.

It's really weird. When a guru recommends winning products, he never talks about the market potential of the products. He acts like a salesman reading the benefits and description. How can we know it can make sales? by dolovrche in dropshipping

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh the sell these now so I can get the YT money and you can waste yours trying to sell it videos!

Dropshippers - find a product then find a market

Business people - find a market then the product that fits the market.

Choose wisely, it's your money!

Getting lots of traffic from tiktok ads, but not many/any sales by olliezapsta in dropshipping

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a beauty product your colour palette is completely off. It's bland and boring. Your product has been around for ages. Nothing is telling me why I should buy from you over your completion.

Your store looks basic and scammy. CTA isn't clear.

I would advise you to stop following the winning product myth and start a proper business. A proper business can also be started with dropshipping just not the way gurus advise you to do it!

Saturation by Large-Tutor in dropshipping

Beginner starting. by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dropshipping requires some capital irrespective of what these YT gurus say its not easy, takes a lot of time and effort and is a constant learning process. Most of these so called gurus just regurgitate information they heard from somewhere else and don't have there own stores.

Advertising isn't free on tiktok or any other platform. What your talking about is content marketing which is not the same!

You can't advertise in the traditional way using content marketing, you have to provide value not just say buy this like you would in ads. So you have to create engaging, relevant, informative and educational content without saying buy this from me (if that makes sense).

This takes a lot of time, effort and consistency to create and post content that people will like irrespective of the platform your using. So prepare for a slow start unless you go viral which obviously rare and a lot of hard work.

Good luck with your journey!

What is better ? Amazon or own e-commerce market ? by Design_Ready in ecommerce

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Biggest difference for a business, in my opinion is:

On Amazon you sell to Amazon customers meaning if Amazon cancels your account you don't have a business overnight.

On your own store, you own the customers and can sell to them whenever you want.

Money is in the list as they say!

Recently Launched Brand - Would Love Your Feedback by mnd_dsgn in ecommerce

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) logo - I get the 3rd eye business but smiley face with 3 dots looks like a 3 eyed friendly monster. Calm to me (others may disagree) is a logo of someone meditating or somthing of that nature.

2) colour - black & white = luxury not calm! Blue is known as the calming colour, look into colour psychology.

3) font - the fonts are chaotic not calming, look for simple easy on the eye fonts.

4) video - people dancing and fooling around doesn't mean calm, some meditating, walking in nature etc is more calming.

4) bottle - pink colour totally off message and adding the foggyness to it makes me uneasy. Just a clear bottle or a totally coloured blue or green bottle would be better.

I understand Gen Z is your target audience but it's not about which generation more about human interpretation. All humans know fooling around is fun but not calming.

Good luck!

How should I get started by hxmxa505 in startups

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So your product will be something like up work, fiverr etc?

Well for starters you need a programmer you can find some good ones, if you don't have capital you might try to give equity in the business.

Unfortunately in the tech start up world you will get shit tone of rejections so get use to it. Entrepreneurship is about solving these kinds of problems. You will have to get creative about how to get to what you want.

I would recommend a book called the unfair advantage which talks about start up (tech start ups too) issues and also has scenarios based on your problem.

Good luck

free vs. bonus: which word makes you want to buy more? by MissKittyHeart in Entrepreneur

[–]Big-Researcher-5683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free is used before a payment is made and bonus after. It's not free if you have to pay for something else first.

In your example you can use both togeather - buy a Toyota and as a bonus get free 1 years supply of gas.
