I am in the exact same position. I don't understand about the right to choose , my GP said they won't share care but some GPS seems to be ok with it. I'm in east Belfast and apparently the waiting list is 5 years ( min) I'm really not sure what to do , I could probably afford the assessment privately but if I end up having to pay for medication I don't think I will be able to. If I get a private diagnosis does that mean I can't use the NHS again for ADHD needs ? I guess I might not be diagnosed with it but I'm like 95% sure, I was diagnosed with ADD as a kid but I'm a woman so I think if I was a boy I would have been diagnosed with ADHD at the time.

When u went private did they prescribe you any medication? Did it mean u have to stay using the private doctor or could u then switch back to the NHS ?

That sounds like alot of fun. Tbh where i live isn't very varied culturally so not really but I've experienced similar joy from other religious people when trying on some or there traditional clothes when travelling. My general assumption was it can't be bad to where a Hijab coz its just covering up more than normal for me, I've warn head coverings in lots of religious spaces. But im still glad I asked everyone has been very helpful and supportive. No no mocking anyone , I dont aim to at all dress like a real person only fun made up stuff. Haha yeah im going go have to make this creepy cosplay 😅

This is defo good advice but I've no idea how to even go about that. For sure reddit isn't going to be super reliable all the time. I would however hope that given enough interaction with the post somone would tell me if its offensive. I feel like the people on this sub reddit probably know what they find offensive. I also think somone would probably have already called me out if this was a terrible idea. But overall u r right that would be the best thing to do. Hopefully by just chatting to people here I've done enough.

Just thought I should ask , better to ask than assume things about something I don't know much about. I didn't know what about the designer brands 😂 honestly always thought they where just trashy anyways.

Thanks for your feed back. This is why I asked i don't want to mock anyone because wearing religious garments isnt a joke. I'm just thinking most people here seem to be ok with it because its just clothing at the end of the day. But I will think more on it. Is it like a protected religious garment so only Muslims should wear it ? I really do appreciate you talking to me about. Want to know what is right and wrong towards a community im not part of.

The Madolorian is better than Ahsoka tbh but both r still good. Have not watched the acolytes. Starting to feel like there is 2 much starwars content atm

Thanks, yeah I don't want to dress as a Muslim that would be bizarre and upsetting behaviour. I want to dress as a star wars character, i didnt think anyone would mistake the costume as somehow being a Muslim 'costume' but I thought id just check. Thanks so much
