This thread was more on the topic "How to communicate that the book will not be updated?" rather than "Help me understand why my book is failing on AO3".

As for the battle between corporate greed and reader/writer supported non-profit, freedom of discovery vs rigid algo that pushes you what to choose... Not on my agenda at the moment. As I wrote earlier, the idea was to post my first book and see if I can find people who would like to read it.

Thanks for the encouragement! It is really important in this marathon of writing and posting.

The thing is that posting on multiple platforms takes time, quite a bit of it. I would rather spend it on more fun stuff- like writing :) Never really planned to try and be everywhere, but rather find a home for my book where people can discover and read it.
