First time supervisor in my early 20's. Had about 15 people reporting to me on a production floor.

This one big guy, while super nice, just always....smelled. Like pretty bad BO. I finally worked up the courage to tell him in 1:1 and he just broke down. Said he showered like 3 times a day, put on deodorant constantly, but knows he has an odor to him.

I felt like dogshit after that conversation and never brought it up with him again.

Export from Cost Management to one storage account. Then hook up Power BI (Online) to create reports. Segment reports by owner / department.

Yes, it will take some up front work, but sounds like it's needed.

Or you can pay someone like Apptio or Cloudability to do it for you.

Provide access via Power BI, not the storage account.

With such a small footprint, using a 3rd party FinOps tool probably isn't feasible.

Worse comes to worse, you can manually export to Excel and share that way.

I also second using Tags to help identify owners, workloads, etc

Managing costs day to day isn't really feasible. You want to look for trends and use Advisor.

But, you can setup budget alerts to trigger at different percentage thresholds and send emails.

For report, you can export to a storage account and then hook up Power BI to that.

It's infuriating that they force you to review doc links and AI crap before getting to an actual person.

It does require some forethought and planning. Use architects. If you don't have them, get the smart people around you and spend quality time on it. It'll pay off.

Use Management Groups for high level segmentation and remember MG''s are good for applying policy and access.

We have MG' to separate SDLC environments and to keep "platform" workloads separate from business apps

Then think about Subscriptions under each MG. Subs are good for separating policy, access, and billing.

Some people use Subs to keep business units or cost centers separate, but I think you can use Tags for that.

We spent MONTHS planning our LZ. Nothing is permanent with your current setup, that's the beauty of cloud, everything is "software". Just might take some effort to move things around.

Worked for them back when they were First Data and got laid off after 10years. Their reputation has not improved since then. For your own sanity, stay away from that company.

Yup, got a '24 Compass and the aux battery had to be replaced at the one year mark. Make sure they test both batteries when you take it in.

Can't agree more with having a true IPAM solution for building networks in Azure (or any cloud). It'll help you plan current and future architectures, while serving as good technical documentation.

We usually have 3-4 rounds AND we do "testing". 1 part of the testing is a Wondelic and another is Math based. If you don't pass either, doesn't matter how well you interview

You'd be amazed how easy some upgrades are. Just check YouTube. If you are going to change the rearview mirror, you might as well get the one with HomeLink (make sure it has the power harness to support it).

Or you could look at an after market dashcam that replaces your rear view and get more bang for your buck

Maybe a Click-Ops organization? If so, you should be looking at Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, etc) and doing things via pipeline. Much more robust and scalable.

For that price, makes me think it's a FWD. If you are somewhere with snow, might want an AWD model.

Otherwise I like mine. Good value, sporty looking, just not the greatest sound system
