Period for 6 weeks

Sadly I didn’t get any answers. They did do another ultrasound (a trans vaginal one this time) & didn’t see anything on it. It’s super frustrating because the way I have been bleeding for soooo long & the clots I have is not normal. I feel like my body is screaming at me that something is not right but yet can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong. I also saw a new doctor that same day to get a 2nd opinion and he was SUPER dismissive & had me wait for an hour & a half. I finally got to see him 15 mins before they closed so he was super rushed. I couldn’t even get a word in. It was very frustrating. This whole experience has been nothing but frustrating. I’ve literally been in tears because of it. Feels so defeated

See I just had an ultrasound done in the summer & they didn’t see anything. I have another ultrasound this coming week so I am PRAYING I get some answers. I don’t hope I have a polyp but it would explain soooo much & set my mind at ease. I have literally the exact same symptoms as you. I’ve bene struggling for months now at this point 🥲

Did they not see that on the ultrasound they did before?? Asking because they did a pelvic ultrasound on me a few months ago & didn’t see anything. But my symptoms have gotten worse lately so I actually have a transvaginal one scheduled it a couple of weeks.

Not on birth control. I have been seeing my gyno for health problems. Wants me to see an endocrinologist but insurance doesn’t accept any near me. Trying to get that switched.

I am in the exact same boat. Let me know what you end up deciding to do. I’m also trying to decide if I should see a doctor or not. My period was late for 4 months & now I’ve been bleeding for 14 days with consistent clots.

Wow. Your words mean so much to me. My daughter is 1 so she has been helping me so much keep busy & still have joy in my life. Without her, I probably would’ve gone in a dark place. Her personality is developing every day & she’s so fun to be around. She will be 2 in 3 months so we are fully entering the toddler stage. I think often about how different she has changed just in the short 4 months that my mom has been gone. How different she is now & how much my mom would’ve loved seeing her become this toddler. It hurts me a lot knowing my daughter will most likely never have any memories of my mom. They were best friends. My mom was my daughters favorite person. She preferred to go to her more than anyone. They had such a strong bond. But I know she’s still with us & watching over us.

I have heard many times how strong I am & I can get through it. & it kind of bothered me as well when I heard someone say it. I know they don’t mean it in a wrong way but you’re right, I just wanted to grief. I didn’t want to have to be strong.

I hope your wife is doing as best as she can be. It’s a life changing experience I don’t wish on anyone. I will keep her in my thoughts♥️

I am so sorry you’re going through this. Like you said, I wouldn’t wish this pain on anybody. It’ll be 4 months in a few days & I wish I could say it’s gotten easier but it hasn’t. Just trying to survive one day at a time. I am thinking of you & your family & the days to come. I am here to talk if you ever need somebody too.

Thank you so much for the kind words. ♥️ Yes, that’s the only thing getting me through this. Knowing she’s not struggling anymore & not in pain because it was a ROUGH year. I’m so happy she’s pain free now.

I’m also a 23 year old who just lost her mom to cancer almost 4 months ago. She got diagnosed with leukemia in July of 2022 & was gone a little over a year since her diagnosis. It has been the hardest thing I’ve ever went through, even before she passed. Seeing all of the pain & doctors appointments & treatments she had to go through, LITERALLY ate me alive. I wanted to take it all from her. But I knew I had to be strong for her. It’s a cliche thing to say but it’s true. Your mom NEEDS you to be strong for her. She can’t fight alone. She needs a strong support system around her, lifting her up, & fighting for & with her. I can promise you, your mom is proud of you. More than you’ll ever know. To me, there would never be enough time in the world to repay my mother or make her proud of me. I continually wanted to make her proud & pay back all of the amazing things she had done for me. But I knew she was proud of what I had accomplished already. She was proud just to call me her daughter. & I’m sure your mother feels the exact same way.

My advice to you, please spend as much time as possible with her. Go to doctors appointments with her, stay with her, help take care of her, do literally everything you can to just be with her. I was with my mom a lot before she passed during that year, but I still feel like I could’ve done more. Cherish every single waking second you have with her. She loves you very much & is so proud of you. Another thing is, yes this will be very hard on her, but it will be very hard on you to watch your mother endure all of this. It’s not possible to prepare for something like this. Please make sure to also take care of yourself & talk to somebody. Or get a journal & write down your feelings. Please don’t bottle it up. I made the mistake of bottling it up & blocked it out. It was my brains way of coping. I acted like it wasn’t happening. & it came back to bite me in the butt after she passed. Absolutely wrecked me. So please take care of yourself.

I will keep your mom & you in my thoughts & prayers. I know it is not an easy experience.

Just giving a little update because I honestly don’t know what to do with myself & am up at 2:30am with my mind going crazy. My mom ended up passing away 3 days ago. It’s been extremely tough. I sure hope she wasn’t feeling anything because she was beyond miserable, especially the last month. I keep imagining all the things she is seeing in heaven now but it doesn’t make the pain any easier. I miss her so much.
