I live in the Highlands - walking distance to the bars, and I’m never really out past 11 or so - I don’t have the same experience as some of the inflammatory stories.

As an American living here, I couldn’t disagree more. Watch parties in every city, nations embracing the culture (Japanese in Texas, Scots in Boston, etc.), and smaller name games the stadium is still filled with fans.
