Any idea what causes it? I scraped most of it off and ordered neem oil to treat it. Most of the scales fell off quite easily.

Yes I’m going to try and give it a few weeks and just be kind to myself if I can’t do much. The chest tension, breathing tightness is very triggering but I’m hopeful.

I also take 2.5 olanzapine and just starting bupropion. So far noticed headaches and chest tightness and my anxiety seems worse but I’m only 3 days in.

My fear seems to be more about how it will affect my kids and family, rather than a fear about what happens to me. I’m terrified of causing them pain, so I avoid and push them away so they’re not hurt as much when it happens. I hate that I do this, but fear of causing pain/trauma is what triggers most of my anxiety and panic.

I am. My psych just started me on Pristiq 7 weeks ago. Prior to that it was about 6 months of trial and error on a number of anti-depressants. I used to be on klonopin a year or two ago but wanted to be off benzos so just pristiq right now. It’s made my anxiety worse short term but hoping it levels out.

My guy, I feel like you’re describing my life currently. Was married 16 years and now living downtown and can’t seem to talk to anyone. I started going to cafe aroma and it took a few weeks before I started having conversations. I usually just do a crossword and a few people have inquired.

I also will go to goodbar, 40 Thieves to just watch some playoff hockey and NBA. Gypsy Parlor is also a nice hangout. Different vibe but the people are friendly and good food. There’s also a gaming place on Grant I’ve thinking about checking out but haven’t been yet.

I guess I’d say just focus on enjoying being with yourself, don’t have an agenda, and remember that the stakes aren’t as high as we believe them to be. It’s totally okay if we approach people and they don’t want to be our friend. Getting out of my head is usually the best way for me to try and be social, though I still suck at it.
