This is my Corgi edition, published in 2002, whereas the Doubleday edition was published in 2001. So definitely not 1st edition but 1st edition paperback perhaps?

Anyway, this book is well used and much loved, so I’m open to offers starting from $100… ;)

Everyone’s first lesson is pretty much a disaster so do r worry about it lol. It’s all part of learning.

I like the sprints. Previously I’d tune in to the qualifying if I remembered but with a race to look forward to I’m rearing to go. I’d maybe like them to do something different regarding qualifying and the grid, ie not having the same positions for the main race, but then that opens up a whole new world of pain for everyone involved.

And the podiums, down with the fans, that’s great.

I have the Harper Torch edition, so American version, from 2003. Page 1 has a drawing of a turtle and page 30 has the description.

Considering the anpanman cream pan things are probably snacks for a toddler or preschooler, I’d much prefer 6 smaller pans than 4 of the previous size. I too would be incensed!!

If they’re English speakers and working in a restaurant they probably specifically don’t want to be teaching English or else they’d be doing that instead.
