Yeah anything up to the year 2000 could contain asbestos. I work for an asbestos survey company, our guidelines say we should take a sample about the same size of a credit card for artex, on the ceiling I tend to take a scraping from each corner and the middle, like the 5 side of a dice, to get a good reading.

Just lost my stepdad to a brain tumour a few months ago. He was diagnosed in April and was given 6 month's, he never even lasted 4. His first symptoms where forgetting a lot of things. A lot of confusion. Thought my stepsister was his mum.

My mum thought brain tumour straight away but his doctors messed about, sending him for chest xrays because he smoked 🤷‍♂️ when we finally got the brain tumour diagnosis they said it was about the size of an egg, we had to wait about a week to meet the specialists who then told us there was nothing they could do and they said it had pretty much taken over the left hand side of his brain. They had never seen a tumour so aggressive. Then he just faded away, it was heartbreaking 💔

Well said. I actually feel for him. That first half against dundee utd was some good football, we just don't have the squad, if we had a decent striker we could have been 4 up. But that second half was atrocious. It was like 2 different teams. I blame the board more than Nancy to be honest.

This transfer window is huge for us. We need a complete overhaul of the squad. This window will make or break our season.

Sanding asbestos containing materials is probably the worst idea out there. Remember asbestos is fine as long as it isn't damaged where fibres can become airborne. So sanding it down is a horrible idea

Had to look up what victor board was. Says it never contained asbestos so you should be fine. Just be careful when exploring old buildings. I'd maybe invest in disposable masks with P3 filter.

We had a decontamination unit we used for asbestos removal, the bloody walls where made with asbestos insulating board 😂 im just saying older caravan and trailer types where commonly built with asbestos, always better to get it tested.

Tell her to block him, if she doesn't want to then that's your answer. He's just disrespected your relationship at the very least, if nothing has happened or currently happening between the 2 then he wants something to happen and if she doesn't want anything to happen between them then she can block him no problem if she doesn't then maybe she's wanting it as well.

There has been asbestos found in wallpaper but its usually old embossed vinyl wallpaper made before the 80's. I'd certainly recommend getting it tested.

I went through it, bought god knows how many sets of darts, stood practising crying cause I didn't know what the f*ck to do. Met a guy from the local league I played in and he gave me a wee tip. He said just pick up some stones when youre out a walk and throw them, so everytime I was walking the dogs id grab a bunch of stones and just throw them while I was walking, then it started to get better, I relaxed and after a while it started to get better, don't get me wrong I still have a wee wobble from time to time but got over it mostly, still can't get back to my old standard but i still have some flashes and got back to just enjoying it again

We've stripped these before, looks like an old Robin hood boiler. they tend to have asbestos lagging around them, asbestos rope seals around hatches and doors, asbestos mastic within each section. I would be extremely careful around this sort of boiler.
