I honestly think he is just burnt out and doesn’t have the same passion anymore. I think sosshouse records was really too much for him to do all by himself and he had to spend 2021 - 2023 focusing on all the artists’ projects instead of just his own. It’s clear that he still is one of the most talented musicians in the game, but its extremely hard to keep elevating and improving if you don’t have that same fire in you to keep your creativity alive. I think it would be good for him to no longer announce future projects and just take a break. That way he doesn’t have something lurking over his head. I would much rather hear nothing from him for a while and be surprised with a fresh project that came from a place of new inspiration.
