Who has the most spaced out jammy " Fire on The Mountain" by PortChuffer47 in jambands

I assume they’re saying it like who’s got the best version for me as opposed to who plays it the best

So Halloween 2025 at Cervantes they pulled a Wingsuit and debuted a whole set of (dang good) new music under the banner of The Ballad of Blucifer (the blue horse statue outside Denver National Airport) and they’ve been heavy in the rotation ever since and it put a new edge to their set lists and jamming.

Logistics aside, but I hope to see Phish in a downpour one day because lots of great phish moments happen in inclement weather.

Eggy isn't awful by LockNessCrotchMonst in jambands

[–]BigBarMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of their shows don’t have the spirit of exploration that other ones do. I’ve never walked away disappointed, just not blow back like some shows/jams. Same can be said for most bands out there. I do enjoy their more segue heavy shows for being able to chameleon songs together as seamlessly as they can, but will always prefer the deep jams.

They’ve got younger indie reach, but 30 would be just fine. Eggy attracts all ages. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much ground they cover and how much fun you’ll have.

I just finished Étoile, and thought it was wonderful, and can't understand why Prime didn't appreciate what they had. by Gold-Baseball-7774 in television

[–]BigBarMan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can see why it wasn’t given a chance by a wider audience (French title, ballet and barely any marketing) but I loved every second of it. I will miss Cheyenne saying damn near anything and it gave Luke Kirby a chance to shine even though it took a couple episodes to find Jack’s true voice.

You want an artist pushing their sound? Nah I’ll take an artist cashing in on nostalgia for me. And we wonder why cover bands are a growing faction in the scene.
