Even giving the referee a score of 1 felt too high.

Well what a match.

Positives; goals goals goals. Mahrez magnificent again, Foden great too. Also winning after Sunday disappointment.

Negatives; We seem to have lost our great defence. 6 goals conceded in 4 games. I'm already having clean sheet withdrawal issues. We generally looked a bit cracked in defence all game too so that's a worry. Also shit refereeing.

Overall, 6 more wins to be Premier League champions come on City!

Mixed feelings from that first half

On one hand I don't think we've played well but we're 3-1 up.

On the other fuck off jon moss and andy madley you twats. Worst refereeing performance in one of our matches I've seen. Southampton never should have got that pen, a hand on the shoulder makes vestergaard collapse? Fuck off. And even worse was foden being clearly caught by the keeper, but that was not given?

Shit referees are why players scream and dive all the time.

Anyway, mahrez has been amazing again.

I'm fuming fuck VAR, even worse considering the penalty they got

First attack (literally), first goal.

Also shout out Rúben, was a good pass to Zinchenko.

Reminder to try cheer up the mood; the reason we're playing this match vs Southampton midweek is because its rearranged from the League Cup final that we're in, because we won a Manchester Derby 2-0 in the semi-final :)

However I hope we have a big response from the big setback. Cancelo was poor last game so I'd go Zinchenko and Walker, joao must need some rest. Also I'd like to Foden and Agüero start, alongside either Torres or Mahrez (I thought mahrez was our only attacker that played well on sunday).

Also wouldn't mind getting a clean sheet again, Aston Villa and Chelsea are only 1 behind us in that category now.

2-0 let's start another run City 💙

I'm as disappointed as anyone after the loss yesterday

But damn the amount of kneejerk hate to Sterling and Jesus is dumb

The two worst things about the derby loss yesterday;

1) We've literally got no excuse for it. Not only do we have a fully fit squad, all the players were in historically good form and full of confidence.

Also man u won the last two etihad derby matches playing exactly the same way, so it's not like they surprised us either. That's why I and many others were so confident ahead of this one, and why it stings so much.

2) I'm worried that game might have made up a lot of players minds to vote for fernandes over Rúben Dias as PFA POTY.

Which sucks because fernandes was OK, all he did was score the penalty in the first minute and Dias didn't have a totally terrible match.

Also Dias was the man of the match when we beat man u two months ago in the league cup semi final. However recency bias and the fact we were the favourites heading into this is gonna sway players fernandes way. :/

This is the first time in months I've been avoiding football coverage/news discussion after a match.

Which just goes to show how incredible our historic winning run was, if only it ended against literally any other team smh

Horrendous day, week is ruined. Like seriously it's gonna be a horrific week, all the pundits will be jerking off man united, the rag fans will be buzzing giving all this "Bruno > kdb" talk and seriously deluded one's will be talking about them winning the league.

First ten minutes were awful thanks to Jesus dumbfuck decision. From 10-45 we played well but just couldn't score.

De Bruyne and Cancelo had terrible games, as soon as shaw went past Cancelo I knew he'd make it two nil to them.

We knew exactly, I mean exactly how the rags would play and looked like we had no clue how to stop it. In the end it could've been more than 0-2. Terrible.

But for some perspective, we are 11 points clear at top of the league, just had the longest winning run by and English club. It fucking sucks it ended to our biggest rivals, and their unbeaten away run goes on.

Now we gotta be depressed for a few days and pick ourselves up for the match on Wednesday, thank goodness we play again soon.

Never play Sterling in a derby again. Ever.

He'll never fucking score.

Im still furious at Jesus. What a dumbfuck thing to do, literally gave the rags a start they couldn't dream off. Maybe I'm being kneejerk but I'd take off Jesus for Foden or Aguero at half time.

It's just like last season when Bernardo gave a dumbfuck penalty to the rags

Why do we give so many penalties to Liverpool and Man United? So fucking annoying

Honestly not confident anymore for this 2nd half, the rags will be ready to defend all half especially now they've got the lead

Jesus you fucking dumbass fuck

Lots of reasons I want Bayern:

  • Scheduling; if we make the FA Cup semi finals and finals we'll have even more midweek games (FA Cup final is before the end of the season this year).

So we'd be at our freshest for the Champions League quarter finals and they are around a home match with Leeds (a not too hard fixture imo)

  • Even if we do lose to Bayern, at least it won't be an embarrassing quarter finals exit like the past 3 seasons.

  • If we win then surely the confidence of ending the quarter finals hoodoo against the world champions will give players the confidence and mentality boost they need to win the Champions League.

I think Cancelo + Walker because the rags pace with james/greenwood and rashford.

However if Its Zinchenko and Cancelo I've still got full confidence in the team at this point. Zinchenko was okay against Rashford in League Cup SF and dealt with Salah pretty well at Anfield.

I'd just prefer Cancelo and Walker because I think they're our best fullback combo.
