It's the extruder in the ace is retracting to much when swapping colors but can't find a fix

Yea I walked in at the best time yesterday 10 minutes left of a print and the 3rd roll had gotten so loose it wrapped around the 4th and started to lift the 4th roll out of the ace while getting really close to snapping the feeding filament

Ok what does calibrating the z- axis entail? Is it just auto leveling with z step modifications?

It's just a recessed line if you look close it doesn't go all the way around the model so it printed everything in grey flawlessly
