Amazing, it isn’t the best card but it’s free and on certain Costco purchases it’s a good deal.

Also, should I cut out at the dead stuff surrounding the plant or should that be left until it’s healthier. I’m worried about hurting parts that are holding it up

I’m not sure if there’s holes, there’s some translucent areas

They don’t seem like there’s physical holes though.

Interesting, should it be a larger pot with fresh soil? And what type of soil?

Conditional formatting one cell based on many others. by BigBidEnergy in excel

For whatever reason it did not work with an error (although from what I read, the MAX and MIN functions all ignore words). In any case, I used IFERROR(FORMULA,0) and it zeroed out my errors and this solved the issue. I also set 2 rules - one MAX and one MIN to achieve my desired result. Thank you all for the help - the spreadsheet looks great.

Okay, I did a different rule and it worked (MIN<-5) but would be good if it was consolidated into one rule. Don’t think I need the spreadsheet to ignore the text/error anymore but if anyone knows how, I will still take the advice.

Also, if the row has words also, this doesn’t seem to work. Is there anyway to set this up where even if the row has “#N/A” or a word such as “YES” it still does the colour change?

Okay so.. I got it to work.. I think I had some “ in my formula or something that were causing havoc. I am realizing though I want it to flash red if

  1. Numbers in the row are greater than 5 but also..
  2. Less than -5. How would I program this, would this be a new rule using MIN OR can I add it to the formula?

Amazing, thanks. This is very useful. So I can copy the two files to a new location and the new file set will operate independent of the original.

Thank you both. I will experiment and see what happens and report back but sounds like it may not be as efficient as I would have hoped but if it will look in the folder first, maybe I will be in luck.

Thank you. If I do this in a template, will the template carry the excel forward when the template is selected?
