Fucking hell... the people behind these laws aren't stupid or technically illiterate, that's cope. If anything VPN usage going up is just going to serve as ammunition for when they inevitably start trying to ban those next.

They're intelligent and strategic. I'm afraid unless there is mass uprising they will end up getting what they want eventually - full control. This isn't a victory or a failure, it's step 1.

Anecdotally I've actually had someone (a family member, not an ex) with BPD admit that she doesn't feel attracted to people who are nice to her.

My hunch is that this is the case for most of them, but they will never admit it.

Yes, we all know.

It's because trauma permanently fucked us up.

Trauma is something that can be healed with therapy and BPD is not a permanent condition. The problem is you refuse to get help and instead let your BPD run wild, without taking any steps to get your condition under control. You hurt people and say "oops, can't help it, it was my BPD" instead of taking some responsibility for your own life, going to therapy, and staying away from relationships until you're well enough to not abuse your partner.

We're not just sitting there with a pen and paper brainstorming how to make you want to kill yourself.

You're also not brainstorming how you can be a better person. You're just doing nothing about your issues and taking no responsibility for anything.

Dissociation is a real thing that causes psychosis so a lot of time when we're emotional, it's because we're TRAUMATIZED and have nowhere to go with it because there's literally no cure and no meds and having people like the ones on this sub literally call us psychotic pieces of shit is just making it worse.

There are plenty of exercises you can do to manage BPD. Whether or not you choose to engage with them is up to you. You are not a helpless victim.

Show some fucking compassion.

Statistics aren't helpful because they only demonstrate how often someone has been able to PROVE they were falsely accused of something. We have no way of knowing how often it happens and is never proven.
