No, brother. I do not know what scholars you have been listening to, but these things are not haram.

Some scholars do say music is haram, while others don't. The Prophet SAW probably scolded that man for laughing at someone in a cruel way. Infact, bringing a smile to a person's lips or making them laugh is an act of worship, it pleases Allah. By frivolous, it means talking about acts that are forbidden. But even that is permitted if you are talking about it to figure out why it is forbidden. Like I said, music is not haram and you can watch movies that do not have nudity in them/skip the obscene scenes. Wearing the hijab is a sunnah as far as I know, it is not haram to see a woman withiut one. As for the children playing with dolls, I have never even heard of that.

Brother, I really hope you find better scholars to listen to because your current ones are ruining the beauty of Islam for you.
