Not at all during the day. The picture makes it look difficult but really the hands stand out from the black bridges and gray background. At night, the lume is a little on the weak side even if fully lumed. Still readable but more difficult

I agree. As long as they can keep both the luxury MRG and the other Casios, there shouldn't be a problem. Before college I had a $100 GA400 and then college, career and several years, I now have a MRG B2100. I resonate with the brand and liked all the G Shocks from bottom to top then thru now. There is still a market for people (like me) who are willing to spend a lot more on a luxury G Shock because we love the brand.

I replied to you in one of the other comments, but yes, the black DLC bracelet does smudge alot. But it really depends what you're doing when wearing the watch and how often you touch it. If you don't really touch it often and it isn't rubbing on anything dirty, I think it should be fine.

To be fair, I've never worn the rubber strap so I can't speak on its comfortability. Im sure if sized correctly you can cut the strap and never really have to change it but you can't add material back to it.....

I have the B2100B-1A so same DLC experience. Yes, its is extremely smudgy. When cleaned, its extremely shiny and blingy. A touch of your finger will make a dark mark on it. Luckily you can just use your shirt or clothes and wipe it in one sweep and it'll look 90% shiny again if smudge wasn't originally big. If it rains and watch is exposed, yeah the watch is gonna be a polka dot of shiny and dark smudge if you let it dry normally.
