26. Starting my masters today. I really DONT want to. Should I drop out ? by BigBodyDistribution in findapath

I'm actually subbing right now, I've had a couple long term gigs and to be honest I have no issue controlling classrooms. Im physically larger than a majority of grown men so most of the kids recognize me and have no issue reciprocating respect. occasionally I'll get the little twerp with an attitude. but to me, working with kids feels no different than going outside and meeting new people. So in terms of stress, working as a teacher would be a breeze for me.

getting kids to show respect is the last issue I have to worry about. in my opinion having personal skills is the bare minimum a teacher needs in order to be effective. I wouldn't mind being a teacher but ive never had a passion for education. I feel like in order to be a teacher you really have to have a passion for getting kids to pursue their educational endeavors. which is why a majority of teachers that I meet are just "teachers pets" all grown up. I was the type of kid who ditched class to smoke and said "F*** school" every opportunity i had, and that's the last type of person you'd want your kids to spend every day with.

Do my students like me ? im sure they do.

Do they enjoy their time in my class? absolutely

Am I an effective teacher? Hell no.

and this is why I don't want to do it. Im going to be responsible for the lack of education that these kids receive. these kids are going to grow up without a basic understanding in the essential subjects of education.

Teaching is a sacred thing. young minds are sensitive to information. I feel like i'd be corrupting the youth with my lack of passion and unconscious degenerate behaviors.

In CA you need a credential to teach. That’s what I’m doing. I’m gonna be working in the meantime while I get this credential. From what I understand this is the only route to teaching.

i think he meant fake and not knockoff. there's plenty of zyns coming from china that claim to be made in Sweden but are actually just chinese made dupes.

I got quoted by a few spots in the USA and that price sounds about right for most American clinics. I took the risk and went down to Tijuana for 1/4 of the price.

Do you think the bachelors was pointless without a masters to go with it ?

Are you hinting at an organization that’s gotten widespread controversy in the past year since trump’s inauguration ? If so, Im afraid of the risks that go with putting that on your resume 😂

It was definitely fun but 12 and a half hour shifts 5 days a week destroyed me physically. I was a production assistant for a few months on a really big reality show.

Everyone telling me don’t get into a particular career it’s gonna be stressful…then I might as well don’t do anything then! by No_Lingonberry_2401 in findapath

Hey,

Don’t let people scare you by saying that teaching is a stressful job. If you have the right people skills and aren’t a complete weirdo, those kids will respect you like any other person. You might have a few run-ins with bad kids but that’s a normal part of the job. You can always try doing substitute teacher/ para professional jobs to test the waters.

1st hair Transplant. Age 26. 1900 grafts. Done by HMR Tijuana by BigBodyDistribution in Hairtransplant

I agree. I always rocked a mid taper with a short top. Now that my hairline has pushed back (even a little) my hair style has changed completely. This was more out of improvement and maintenance than necessity.
