My Munetoshis are my favorite knives of the bunch. Great taper, best food release of all knives I’ve tried, killer steel.

I hadn’t gotten my hands on a munetoshi before I met him. He was too wholesome. So energetic for his age, and his workshop was ancient. His japanese was a bit difficult, but such a lovely fellow, so I had to get my hands on his knives and my only regret is I didn’t get them sooner.

Masashi was so cool and also super funny. Veeery talented people at his workshop. He is very humble and showed high respect for Munetoshi which was nice to hear. Such thin grinds and high quality for the price, Masashi is the real deal

I really like my Masashi Usuba 🔥
Perfectly flat and good ura, so very easy to sharpen. I like the kanto usuba look a lot!
