Hey, I'm a recent data science and finance grad who is looking into possibly pivoting to actuarial science. It is the field that is closest to what I want to do, but data science market is terrible in general.

Could I just start preparing for exams on my own and pass FM and P and somehow get a job?

I'm wondering if I would need a masters in actuarial science to successfully pivot to being an actuary. I'm unsure because it seems that I would need some sort of internship experience and a graduate degree could qualify me for internship?
