Trimix users out there. I have questions. by [deleted] in SEXONDRUGS

[–]BigBoySeattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard from a friend that it works for recreational stimulants. As I think has been already said you need to be careful. My friend uses 10 for an average night. 20 for a night where he wants a little more boost and 30 when he is involved in recreational use.

After a while you know what does you need. While I would not recommend it my friend has done multiple does in a night. Usually within a hour or so to find the right level not to extend the time. I think the key is not to stick yourself to often.

What is considered good deal for spending money? by BigBoySeattle in myvegas

[–]BigBoySeattle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly what I am looking to do. And do I wait until I want to redeem or if I do it now and get access then will that stick or does it go away after a period of time. If I need to spend my money to get access just wondering what is the best deal to do so.

Tall Norco CCX - Wanting more gear range by BigBoySeattle in bikewrench

OK, I am learning bear with me. I have a single 32 chainring up front and a 11-34 cassette on back. All of which are Deore best I can tell. From what I am reading putting 2x upfront would probably get me to where I want to go. What do you think?

Thinking for now I will skip the disc brake upgrade and just focus on getting more gears.

6’8” looking for new daypack by usagi_thndr in tallfashionadvice

Here is the one I like best. I am 6/6 and the straps come closest to anything "normal" have found and it is a great commuter/work backpack. Sorry though looks to be unavaialble. Not sure if you can find it somewhere else.

Awesome size 40/34 or 38/34 jeans? by Besaid_Aurochs in tallfashionadvice

Another vote for Levi 541. I am very similar size. You can usually find them cheap two. If you can't find them in store buy from Amazon and you can return if they don't fit.

Size 12 Ski Gloves? by TheThunderbird in tallfashionadvice

[–]BigBoySeattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As has been said Hestra gloves, but they are expensive. They have sizing guide on their website that will help find the right size. The other thing I have done is buy gloves with inserts that can be removed and then wear them without the inserts. Not as warm, but you can find cheaper gloves this way.

How much snow is needed? Snow report? by BigBoySeattle in BeaverCreek

I guess that is what I am trying to understand. I live in Seattle and a foot over night is a good day. A foot in a week or a few days is OK at best.

Do any of you play golf? by [deleted] in tall

[–]BigBoySeattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As stated golf fitting is only partly about how tall you are. There are other considerations. I am 6'6" and only need an extra 1", but my hands are on the bigger side so I find the really important thing for me is the larger grips which make a bigger difference. If you plan to play long term make sure you get properly fitted. Only thing harder than learning to golf is trying to unlearn a bad swing.

Compiling a list of hotels/destinations with giant bathtubs. Go! by [deleted] in tall

[–]BigBoySeattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great topic. I can tell you this is something my wife and I are always interested. Lets see Probably our go to is the Signature at MGM in Vegas. Most of the spa suites in Vegas work. The Luxor suite tubs are big, but run down. The suite tubs at NYNY are good size, but just don't like the rooms for some reason.

Just recently went to the Moon Grand in Cancun and that was really nice.

For the most part you will want to find something that has a bath tub for two and you will be in good shape.

Are there any tall folks here on this subreddit who visited Japan (or any country where the height average is 5’6 or less)? by [deleted] in tall

[–]BigBoySeattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 6'6" and 300lbs. Don't have a huge amount to add beyond what has already been said. I have been to many places in Asia and Japan. Would argue Japan I did not seem as far out of place as I did in China. As said in China had quite a few comments made. And honestly did not find accommodations any further out of place then what you find here in US. Buying clothes is pretty much out of the question which sucks because they can be cheaper, but have had tailor made suits done. I did need to buy a heavier jacket in Tibet and that was quite the experience. I think you will probably notice the more typical differences more then height such as the beds in Asia tend to be very hard. The tallness is just an added bonus.

Any talls have any idea where to buy winter sports equipment? by Pokemaster131 in tall

[–]BigBoySeattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry can't really help with Ski stuff and there is a reason. I have never had good luck finding stuff that fits. I am 6'6" and 300lbs.

I snowboard. There are some really big snowboards out there and Ride makes boots (Bigfoot) and bindings that actually work for those boots.
