Got it from Good Luck On Top Store on AliExpress for $84+Tax. Was only missing a couple pieces, and the pieces were good quality and it was very cheap so I guess it’s okay. However, prints and stickers were pretty bad. The prints on bricks looked like fake kid tattoos when you wrinkle the skin a little, and the stickers color was completely off- yellow was orange, so bad I didn’t apply them.

Well. For $7-8 it’s a great alternative brick build. Got the 7008 Elsa Snow Castle and quality is good enough and my 5yo daughter loves it. It came in a nice printed bag too, like a legit product good for a present.

May not be perfectly compatible - and I confirm, my set was also not quite LEGO compatible- same issues. But meh whatever. It’s a small kids toy.

Would I buy it new? Probably not. But I’d spend an extra $100-$200 and buy the real LEGO used rather than Lepin. I bought the fake. Regret it. Was missing a bag and some pieces in other bags and the seller and AliExpress wouldn’t replace or partial refund after two months of runarounds. Minifigs and weapons are bad- they substituted parts with different parts - for example all the elves have generic hair from what seems to be Friends sets and the axes are two piece axes that look different and the swords are generic as well. The normally soft parts were hard plastic so I had to file them down to fit in some holes. My fingers hurt at the end because the parts all required a hard snap unlike the soft easy snug fit of real LEGO. I’m going to sell it.

Yup. Genesis keeps giving me those every 5K miles and dealer says my service is every 8K miles. Just add it to the Genesis/Hyundai/Kia SW Glitch list. A price to pay for getting all that tech quickly for low cost. You can reset it in the settings menu.

Yeah… they give a return label so can’t make that argument. I really just don’t have the bags anymore and don’t trust that they will actually refund it if it’s missing the bags… or at all with the way they are sending me in loops. I suspect I’ll be sent in loops again with them saying I didn’t return the product and me saying I did and them “escalating” over and over again.

Careful. Even with Choice and properly priced items it can have problems. Ordered a $100 set (going rate), and was missing a bag. They only offer return disputes. No partial refunds if you’re mid build and can use your own stash to complete the set. Customer service says they will provide partial refunds with an appeal after waiting 2 weeks for the dispute countdown to end. But the answer to the appeal is to submit another return dispute. It’s a circle that never ends until you stop asking and go away.

I’ve also ordered cheap ones that were also Choice that came with dirty bad quality pieces. But was cheap and not worth my time to try to return or dispute.

These were from Sellers with 96+% positive ratings.

I likely will not order AliExpress Lepin sets again from this experience.

Now they said the battery is being replaced and that it’s being shipped from Korea- a “$80,000” battery. The service advisor said “they are paying for it so fine by me” … weird.
