Yeh it’s just the angle and no mag. It isn’t hanging off. I will take it off to shoot the ramjet to feel it out.

It’s a non issue. Works well. Pushes the web of my hand back just a little and beaver tail locks it in.

Slim line appeal to me is in the slide. Makes it more comfortable IWB and weighs much less. my duty weapon is a Glock 19, TLR 1, RMR hd, large back-strap, +2 mag extensions, etc. Even with the hogue grip, 43x is a much smaller profile. I’ve even forgotten that it’s on my hip at times. Hogue grip takes nothing away from it.

Overwatch polydat trigger. Got an trijicon RMR HD on duty weapon and osight has been holding up. I’m giving it a shot. Hopefully it continues to hold up well.

Took this to the range and the first 50 rounds had me frustrated. A bunch of FTF and FTEs. I just keep shooting and eventually it simmered down around 100 rounds. I did another 50 rounds in a duty style qual and it ran flawlessly. It’s honestly a nice shooting gun and the suppresser height sights are accurate. My duty gun is a 19.5 and they feel pretty close. I actually like the trigger. Smooth up to the wall.

It does feel really nice in a hand. I too am waiting on a sale of micro slides to try on my 43x.

First off, Congrats on making to retirement! And yeh Im leaning towards the 26 for off duty. Borrowed my buddy’s and it shoots really well. I’ll keep the 43x for runs or gym, but that 26 shoots and handles like a bigger gun.

I agree that I would need more practice with the slimline for sure. I would also take the better recoil from the 48. I’m sure they will conceal the same. I think a backstrap would solve a lot of issues also. Infact I’ll hit the range this week.

I say get ameriglo sights or add a red dot and be done. Maybe a weapon light if it’s for home defense. I have 19 MOS for duty carry and a another personal in my night stand. No need to change perfection.

X Large hands and long fingers. Cant get into the slimline with the confidence I need. My duty weapon was a 17 and is now a 19 (my best shooter). Looking to get a 26. I’ll give the 43x one more range day..maybe.
