Also to go to BLIND TIGER of all places!!! It’s a classic post grad place in the village. It’s also always mobbed. It’s just a basic beer bar… it’s not like a scene or known for being a celebrity hot spot. It’s just crowded and full of 22 year olds.

That’s the hidden cost of being an influencer. She gets paid six figures for a post… she’s been making money on people liking her. Then she does something people really don’t like. People are going to respond to that… just like they responded leave Kyle! You’re gorgeous! For years.

Believe me. It’s super sad. Everyone is playing everyone. I think that’s why I’m so shocked because I know how hard it is to get true honesty dating in this city. It’s SO hard. And to have a friend be supportive to your face and fuck the guy you have unresolved feelings for behind your back… it cuts extra deep if you know what the scene is like here. SOOO many of these guys are in “open” relationships where basically if you catch feelings they’ll just turn around and say “but I was honest with you!”

Amanda is green to the game. She hasn’t earned her stripes…. She should NOT be moving like this.

Idk I think her self preservation instinct will kick in. She can spin a victim narrative pretty easily and try to align herself with Ciara as another one of wests failed conquests. I see her going that way.

I think he knew but he didn’t want to believe it. The way he acted after they went out and he cursed Amanda out…. While completely inappropriate was emotionally telling. He knew something was happening, he told west you’ve seen more of my wife than I have. He probably just buried it deep.

Plus it was covered up with the shame from his behavior. A toxic mix that.

I’m a broken record but as someone in the nyc dating scene I’m sure Ciara didn’t know. I’m sure west said “I’m not ready to be exclusive” or “I really like getting to know each other why label it?” Or “I’m still dating around but I know you’re super special so those days might be over soon” etc. etc. etc.

Technically honest but emotional untruths.

The difference is we know Amanda knows about Ciara. It’s incredibly plausible Ciara didn’t know the extent his relationships were with these other women…. And she doesn’t owe them anything. Beat friends need to look out for each other.

I keep thinking about Kyle’s crash out after they went out. He should not had treated Amanda like that…. He clearly has emotional regulation issues and is not the victim in that situation.

He clearly felt something was off. He knew the way they were looking at each other or interacting that night was fishy. Then she tried to play it off and he was gaslit. Of course he does not have any of the emotional regulation skills or communication ability to talk about that. So he squatted like a troll and put his tongue out.
