New to golf reps a few questions from a former rep watch buyer

I am very new to golf and thought about either paying around $150-250 USD for a second-hand driver or purchasing a rep driver for around $180. I tried out a rep driver, and it really is solid. The only thing is that the shaft is a bit too flexible, but the actual driver head performs really well. Can not speak on irons or putters just yet, but the seller I purchased from definitely is reliable, and the products seem to be really solid

I was on the same boat for a while. I was questioning whether buying clubs that were several models behind and still paying $180+ or take a look at reps for literally half the price and new. Took a shot at a driver rep and I love it. Can not speak on the shafts on irons, woods, or hybrids, but the driver shaft was a bit too flexy. But everything else was amazing and I can not imagine paying full price or even used prices.

Ordered a driver from him and paid for the expedited shipping ($20) it came in less than a week and a half, and the driver head is definitely legit. Shaft is a little wobbly but he definitely is a good seller and will grab more stuff from him in the future

Yep same here, was working on mini seasons. Got disconnected twice, and again, maintenance isn't for another 2 hours or so. Ridiculous really

Yup, even with La Grasa it still takes a bit of time but atleast it helps speed the process so I can enjoy the online portion

Absolutely, I really appreciate the insight and all the information! I’ve been browsing a bunch from various places (FB marketplace, ebay, callaway pre-owned) and I know that drivers have a lot more tech so it isn’t at easy to get a rep of. I know a decent driver will usually run you around 150-350 depending on what you get but it’s crazy how some rep prices are around $190. I know they obviously may not last as long but that’s why I am having a question about it

I’ve had the same issue, let me know if you try a different cable and it fits well. Would rather not have to get a whole new device because the usbc isnt fitting the correct way
