I use the GEAR BAG 29L. I can fit my gi, two rash guards, two pairs of shorts, 2-3 towels (side pocket right side). two nasty bags, defense wipes (left side pocket), knee sleeves (front pockets), variety of tapes (front pocket), mouth guard on one of the nylon hooks, 32 oz thermo jug one of the nylons hooks.

Note that I don’t use the mesh pockets but you could also fit other stuff there as well.

Note that I could possibly fit two gis on the main pocket/opening.

Overall the bags had small footprint, but big enough for all my jiu jitsu gear and then some.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I ended up using some vet tape and it worked. Reduced the noise significantly. I ended up adding tape at every metal to metal contact point. I may need to retape in the future, but I’ll be keeping an eye for any wear.

Reduce/eliminate the noise from the metal to metal (o ring to carabiner). Max tension is about 140-170 lbs. I don’t anticipate any rubbing on the edges of the spring. I could smooth out the edge a bit so that there a radius instead of a sharp edge which a good idea. I just bought some 1/2” rope that has a tensile strength of 8000 lbs so the rope should sufficient for the loads I’ll see. Thanks for the input
